Small Block Chev sumps that suits the two piece rear main seal model.
Early Small block Chev dipstick left side or right side (when viewed from rear of boat)
For dog clutch type engines the sump is altered to allow for the pickup to extend to the rear of the boat at the dog clutch end and similar to the floor profile.
The oil pick-up is extended to the rear and supported by a main bearing cap bolt.

Small Block Chev Vortec model sumps are not interchangeable with the early 2 piece rear seal type which have the dipstick on the opposite side.
